Ballistic Coefficient Measurement System

Measuring a bullet’s ballistic coefficient is crucial for determining its long-range capabilities. This system measures and records both point of impact and BC for every shot. The hardware includes a portable 4’x4′ cube target with 8 acoustic sensors, a Target Station with data radio and 8-hour battery, a Muzzle Velocity Station, Magnetospeed chronograph, portable weather station (measuring temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure), and a firing line access point. The bullet’s BC is calculated using muzzle velocity and downrange velocity measurements.
